Over a decade ago, Professional Hunter Leon Prinsloo established Bush-Pro Safaris. This was natural extension of his childhood, where hunting, fishing and outdoor adventures fuelled his love for all things African. Leon and his wife, Annalize subsequently established a game ranching facility on their 1400 hectare farm, Kareekloof, in a quaint rural settlement called Derby in the North-West Province, South Africa.

Bow hunting is the chief activity for Bush-Pro Safaris. Through the years we have created a peaceful ambiance on our farm, resulting in extremely tame animals. Hunting with rifles is restricted to a minimum.

Several well-constructed hides are spread across the property. The natural flora is ideally suited to walk and stalk hunts for those experienced and adventurous bow hunters among us.

Luxury full on-board lodging as well as self-catering accommodation is perfect after a pleasure-filled day of hunting.
